Responsibilities

• Dispense medications prescribed by doctors accurately and efficiently
• Advise customers on the correct usage of medications
• Monitor patient drug therapies by analyzing patient information and medication orders
• Maintain accurate records of all prescriptions filled or refused
• Ensure that all medications are kept secure at all times
• Maintain updated knowledge on new drugs available on the market

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or relevant field required
• Valid local or national pharmacy license/registration required
• Proven experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
