Accountant in Khalifah A City, UAE. Khalifah A City is looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team and help ensure the accuracy of our financial records. We are a fast-paced office and need someone who can ensure that all our financial records are kept in order, compliant with local regulations and up to date. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoices, payroll and bank reconciliations
• Accurately entering data into the accounting system
• Preparing monthly financial statements
• Reconciling bank statements
• Monitoring cash flow
• Assisting with budget preparation
• Reviewing expenditures to ensure accuracy
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Remaining current on industry trends relating to accounting and finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar field
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in an accounting role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
