We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Psychiatrist to join our mental health department at AKH Hospital Al Ain. The ideal candidate will bring extensive clinical experience, cultural sensitivity, and a patient-centered approach to psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders in adult and adolescent patients
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers and primary care physicians
• Provide crisis intervention and support for acute psychiatric cases
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations
• Participate in hospital-wide mental health awareness initiatives and CME programs

Qualifications & Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) Specialist Psychiatry qualification (MD, Board Certification, etc.)
• Valid UAE license or eligibility for HAAD/DHA/MOH licensing
• Minimum 8 years of clinical experience in psychiatry
• Fluency in Arabic and English preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
