A well-established Abu Dhabi based Investment Firm is seeking a highly capable Legal Director to lead its legal function across a diverse portfolio of entities. Reporting into the Chief Legal Officer, this is a hands-on leadership role which is ideal for a senior lawyer who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and has the ability to balance strategic leadership with technical execution .

The Position :

Key responsibilities for this position will include :

Overseeing and managing a high-performing legal team across multiple business units and sectors.
Handling a high volume of complex commercial contracts , JV’s and regulatory matters.
Providing practical, solutions-oriented advice across the group’s operating entities.
Take the lead on high-risk government tenders and strategic negotiations .
Act as a key advisor to internal stakeholders

Does this sound like you?

A minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience (UK equivalent)
Strong background in commercial contracts , corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
Proven ability to manage legal teams and work under pressure in high-volume settings.
Comfortable rolling up sleeves to deliver high-quality legal output.
Experience in government contracting / tenders or highly regulated sectors is a plus.
