🚀 Financial Director

We are supporting a leading regional hotel management group in their search for a Director of Finance to be based at their corporate office in Sharjah.

This is a key leadership role overseeing the consolidated financial operations across the company’s UAE and KSA hotel portfolio , ensuring governance, compliance, and strategic financial alignment across all business units.

Role Overview

Position: Director of Finance (Corporate Office)

Reports To: CEO (with a dotted line to Group Finance Leadership)

Team: 1 direct report (Corporate Finance Accountant)

Scope: Group-level finance leadership across UAE & KSA managed hotels

Key Responsibilities

• Lead group-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting aligned with corporate strategy
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS and USALI standards
• Oversee internal controls, audits, and risk management for all entities
• Conduct monthly performance review meetings with hotel finance heads
• Provide analytical insights to drive profitability and strategic decisions
• Manage cash flow, CAPEX, taxation, and insurance policies
• Liaise with ownership, auditors, and key stakeholders
• Mentor and develop finance teams to strengthen group-wide financial capability
• Drive process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of senior-level finance experience within the hospitality industry (mandatory)
• Chartered Accountant or postgraduate qualification in Finance/Accounting
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, USALI, and audit practices
• Experience reporting to ownership or board-level stakeholders
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Opera, or SunSystems
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)

Working schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.
