We are looking for a Chemist to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced and challenging environment. The successful candidate should have a good understanding of chemistry and related concepts, with the ability to apply these to laboratory experiments. The role requires an individual who is creative, analytical and self-motivated with excellent communication skills. The position requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their technical knowledge and proficiency in order to maintain the highest standards of quality control and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conducting laboratory experiments based on established protocols and procedures
• Developing new methods and techniques for testing products
• Analyzing samples using various instruments such as spectrometers and gas chromatographs
• Preparing detailed reports on results of tests conducted
• Maintaining accurate records of experiments performed
• Ensuring all safety regulations are followed in the lab at all times
• Collaborating with other scientists on research projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field
• Prior experience in laboratory research is preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent problem solving, communication, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits
