We're looking for a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in a trendy sandwich concept. As Sous Chef, you'll assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, preparing menu items, and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.
Prepare and cook menu items to high standards of quality and presentation.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and quality control standards.
Support the training and development of commis chefs.
Contribute to menu development and kitchen innovation.
Interact with customers, responding to their queries and feedback in a professional and friendly manner.
Requirements:
Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food trends.
Excellent communication skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with kitchen staff, servers, and customers, providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
