Satellite Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Support spacecraft validation and verification at the system level
• Define test specifications for system level tests and verification
• Coordinate system engineering activities
• Collaborate with Architects (m/f/d) and Subsystem Engineers (m/f/d):
  • Analyze satellite functional and interface requirements
  • Flow down satellite requirements to subsystem specifications
  • Ensure compliance with satellite technical requirements
  • Define satellite configuration and manage internal and external interfaces
  • Support the creation of AIT plans and operation plans
  • Supervise satellite test preparations and review test results
  • Prepare for launch and flight phases, including launcher interfaces and operations data
  • Maintain spacecraft databases and simulators
  • Contribute to project risk management for technical risks

Your Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, physics, or equivalent
• Professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in phases AB and in verification
• Experience in technical negotiations with customers (m/f/d)
• Self-managed and proactive work style
• Ability to implement and work with processes
• Teamwork and team coordination skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; German and other languages are advantageous
