Overview
Lecturer Engineering Sensor Technology (m/f/d) – freelance lecturer on a part-time basis at IU International University of Applied Sciences, Berlin campus, starting with 4–8 teaching units.
Responsibilities
- You teach fundamental knowledge with high practical relevance, for example topics such as sensory systems and platforms, transducers, measurement effects and applications, and you are responsible for correcting exams.
- You design courses using high-quality teaching materials provided based on the coursebook.
- You conduct practical teaching sessions and tutorials on-site and promote an active and interactive learning process.
- You provide individual support to dual students on all questions related to the course and prepare them for their professional careers.
Your Profile
- University degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Practical work experience in the relevant subject area.
- Ideally initial experience in academic teaching (e.g., as a tutor, teacher, lecturer, or research assistant).
- Strong interest in innovative, digital, and modern education and enjoyment in working with students.
- English language skills at CEFR C1 level.
