🚀 Data Scientist Lead

Overview

Seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Lead to provide leadership, structure, and strategic direction for our data initiatives. This role will play a pivotal part in developing and deploying AI-driven tools, ensuring data science excellence, and enabling predictive insights for heavy engineering applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a cross-functional data & analytics team (ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Architects)
• Drive the design, deployment, and operationalization of AI/ML models in production environments
• Translate complex engineering data (temperature, vibration, physics, mechanical systems) into actionable insights
• Shape data and AI strategy to support the company’s digital transformation journey
• Ensure scalability, quality, and efficiency of data analytics processes across projects

Essential Requirements

• Proven leadership in data analytics, AI/ML, and data science
• Strong background in engineering data (vibration, temperature, physics, mechanical engineering)
• Hands-on experience with ML platforms (Databricks preferred, but alternatives welcome)
• Experience in the deployment phase of the project
• Fluent English spoken & written

Contract Details

• Duration: 12 months (long-term engagement expected)
• Commitment: Full-time, 5 days per week
• Work Mode: Remote
• Preferred Locations: Frankfurt Germany
