Responsibilities

• Active deal sourcing and screening of new investment opportunities
• Preparation of industry research to form new investment hypotheses
• Joint responsibility for the investment process (business identification, evaluation, due diligence activities, and legal terms negotiation)
• Support in portfolio management (assisting senior team with board governance tasks and monitoring operating milestones; translating company performance into insights for our limited partners)
• Represent b2venture at local and international events and conferences

Requirements

Your profile

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent academic track record
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience, ideally in entrepreneurial environments (startup, VC, tech company or similar)
• Digital native, curious, and interested in new products and technologies
• Self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative
• Team player with strong work ethic, humility, and a can-do attitude
• Structured thinker with strong analytical skills and original thinking
• Keen learner, comfortable with not knowing everything at first
• Strong communicator, networker, and relationship builder
• Fluent in English and German (additional languages a plus)

• Technical/engineering background
• Coding/programming skills
• Data science / analytics skills
• Domain expertise
