Overview

We are looking for a candidate to manage and build strong GTPS client relationships in order to support NBI growth, working closely with the GLBA relationship team and GTPS colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage GTPS client relationships to ensure NBI growth, in collaboration with the GLBA relationship team with a focus on working capital solutions, and discuss Trade Finance and Cash Management opportunities.
  • Work with the local GTPS Team to prepare client pitches and other marketing and sales materials.
  • As part of the GTPS client coverage team, respond to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Attend client meetings and record and act on follow-up actions in a timely manner; ensure Call Reports are completed and logged in SG Markets/IC.
  • Perform regular client activity reviews to identify utilisation of products and working capital facilities, upward or downward trends, and define corrective actions; escalate to the GTB Head where necessary.
  • Collaborate with GTPS teams in Paris to keep the CRM/pipeline tool up to date and accurately record all sales opportunities identified.
  • Ensure that all client folders on the Frankfurt shared drive are up to date and maintained in an orderly manner.
  • Take ownership of client support questions and coordinate with GTPS Teams in Paris for resolution.
  • Work with central GTPS Teams to stay updated on changes or new services that may benefit our clients.
  • Provide feedback from clients/prospects to ensure GTPS is aware of the competitive position in the German Transaction Banking market.
  • Work with the GTPS team to provide any credit-related services for clients, ensuring requests are actioned and executed promptly.
  • Coordinate with central GTPS teams on new client onboarding, keeping clients updated on progress.
  • Collaborate with other GTPS partners to ensure client support across their global business.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of previous sales or client relationship management experience with large companies.
  • Experience structuring and selling working capital finance solutions and GTB products to large companies.
  • Banking industry experience is preferred.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to think innovatively is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify sales opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word).
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver quality results in a timely manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent German and English language skills; French is advantageous.
