Senior Engineer Grid Integration of Power Electronic Converters (m / f / d)

What challenges can you expect?

• You develop control algorithms for the grid integration of power electronic converters
• You generate reports, papers, and patents on the control of power electronic converters
• You create automatic code, DLLs, and APIs from your control algorithms
• You develop interfaces and scripts for MATLAB
• You use modern lifecycle management and CI / CD tools

What do we expect from you?

• You have a degree in the field of control engineering, electrical engineering or energy technology or a similar qualification
• You have several years of professional experience and a deep knowledge in grid integration of power electronic converters
• You have a deep understanding on grid feeding, grid forming and grid codes compliance, patenting experience is a plus
• Good knowledge on power electronics topologies, Modular Multilevel Converters and medium / high voltage applications will round your candidature
• You have a very good understanding of system and software architecture
• You have experience in MATLAB / Simulink
• Lifecycle management tools (Integrity, doors, Atlassian) and version control sounds familiar
• Good communications skills in English, both in verbal and writing
