The Clinical Application Physicist provides clinical support and product training to customers in hospitals and cancer centers throughout the EMEA region.
Key Areas of Responsibility :
- Respond to customer product inquiries via telephone or internet-based email or chat sessions.
- Resolve customer concerns related to operation, maintenance, product application, or compatibility issues.
- Perform daily customer-centric activities demonstrating expert technical product knowledge and interpersonal skills.
- Provide high-level customer support during on-site installation, training, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems.
- Act as a liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
- Collaborate with clinical physicists to deliver customized technical training as needed.
- Identify customer needs and determine internal resources required for resolution.
- Utilize a broad skill set including mechanical, electrical, networking, software, and physics processes.
- Provide product feedback and work with global peers to align on best practices and processes.
- Attend conferences and trade shows as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested periodically.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- BSc. or MSc. in Medical Physics, Dosimetry, or related discipline.
- Clinical experience in Radiation Therapy is advantageous.
- Technical training or support experience in a professional or academic environment is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities for remote or face-to-face audiences.
- Proficiency in German and English languages.
- Strong technical aptitude, experience with web-based applications, and comfort with learning new technologies and industry standards.
- Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong time management skills.
- Able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
