Yardstick Robotics GmbH, as part of Rheinmetall AG, focuses on the model-based development of AI-based robotic systems. Our digitized modeling approach enhances development speed and advances the maturity level towards serial production.

We are seeking a Verification and Test Engineer (m / f / d) to:

• Develop test plans, test stands, and test strategies for various robotic (sub-)systems, adhering to technical guidelines
• Perform tests and compare results with system requirements
• Analyze test outcomes and identify divergences or bugs
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve products
• Document test results and generate reports
• Coordinate with third parties and manage processes for product certification

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
• Experience in designing and implementing (sub-)system tests
• Knowledge of relevant ISO / DIN standards
• Experience with Simulink / dSpace, especially with testing in real environments outside the laboratory, is advantageous
• Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
• Strong teamwork, independent working skills, and good communication abilities
• Ability to learn new topics and understand complex technologies
• Decision-making and prioritization skills
