Overview

Tourism WA’s International Markets team seeks a dynamic Country Manager to lead the German‑speaking European market from our Frankfurt office, driving targeted marketing campaigns and expanding Western Australian visitor growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction and promote WA as a premium travel destination in Germany.
• Develop and execute trade and consumer marketing campaigns, including digital channels.
• Collaborate with key travel partners and stakeholders, managing relationships.
• Plan and conduct market visits, conferences, and promotional events.
• Analyse performance metrics and report on impact and ROI.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in trade/consumer marketing and proven results, preferably with digital campaigns.
• Background in travel and tourism, especially within German markets.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Germany and internationally.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal.
• Degree in marketing, tourism, business or related field preferred.

Location

Frankfurt, Germany – full‑time (37.5 hrs per week, permanent).

Pre‑employment conditions
