Credit Controller DACH (d / f / m)

The Credit Controller DACH is responsible for managing the customer credit and collection process across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) to optimize account receivables and contribute to the achievement of the company’s working‑capital objectives.

This position reports to the EMEA Credit Controller Team Leader and is part of the Finance EMEA team mainly located in Wetzlar, Germany. The role is an on‑site position.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Manage credit limits for new and existing customers based on analysis of financial reports and collection history.
• Communicate with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
• Validate customer new orders by controlling payment terms and the status of overdue accounts.
• Collaborate with the accounting and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and ensure proper payment allocation.
• Contribute to credit control process improvements for the whole EMEA area as well as Finance‑IT projects in relation to regulatory requirements (e.g., E‑invoicing).

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Several years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role in an international environment.
• Fluent in German and proficiency in business English.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience with SAP as an ERP system is a plus.

Der Credit Controller DACH ist verantwortlich für die Steuerung des Kundenkredit‑ und Inkassoprozesses in der DACH‑Region (Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz). Ziel ist die Optimierung der Forderungen und die aktive Unterstützung bei der Erreichung der Working‑Capital‑Ziele des Unternehmens.

Diese Position berichtet an den EMEA Credit Controller Teamleiter und ist Teil des Finance EMEA Teams mit Sitz hauptschlich in Wetzlar, Deutschland. Es handelt sich um eine Onsite‑Stelle.

In dieser Rolle haben Sie die Möglichkeit:

• Kreditlimits für neue und bestehende Kunden auf Basis der Analyse von Finanzberichten und Zahlungshistorien zu verwalten.
• Mit Kunden zu kommunizieren, um eine fristgerechte Zahlung offener Rechnungen sicherzustellen.
• Kundenbestellungen durch Kontrolle der Zahlungsbedingungen und des Status berfälliger Konten zu validieren.
• Mit den Teams Buchhaltung und Kundenservice eng zusammenzuarbeiten, um Rechnungsprobleme zu lösen und eine korrekte Zahlungszuordnung sicherzustellen.
• Zur Verbesserung der Kreditkontrollprozesse im gesamten EMEA‑Bereich sowie zu Finance‑IT-Projekten in Bezug auf regulatorische Anforderungen (z. B. E‑Rechnung) beizutragen.

Die wesentlichen Anforderungen der Stelle sind:

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Kreditmanagement, Debitorenbuchhaltung oder einer ähnlichen Finanzfunktion in einem internationalen Umfeld.
• Fließende Deutschkenntnisse sowie sichere Englischkenntnisse in der geschäftlichen Kommunikation.
• Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Kombination mit einer eigenverantwortlichen und sorgfältigen Arbeitsweise.
• Von Vorteil sind außerdem Erfahrungen in der Nutzung von SAP als ERP‑System.
