We are looking for a skilled and motivated Facility Engineer to join the team at their Berlin data center. As part of the facility team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and optimisation of complex data center infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with technical and legal standards.
- Manage service providers and contractors.
- Monitor and resolve incidents with the NOC.
- Participate in paid on-call rotation (nights/weekends).
- Perform minor repairs and component replacements.
- Support budgeting, documentation, and audits.
Skills/Must have
- Training in electrical engineering or air conditioning.
- Willingness to gain switching/voltage authorizations.
- Strong technical and problem-solving mindset.
- Flexible, team-oriented, and hands-on.
- Comfortable with on-call duties.
- Fluent German; English is a plus.
