Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- As a drug hunter, you will drive key scientific questions in drug discovery projects, providing critical insights for go/noâgo decisions and advancing the understanding of targets and modalities.
- You will actively contribute to project teams by supporting target identification and validation, lead discovery and optimization, and modeâofâaction deconvolution.
- You will design and implement novel approaches using transcriptomics and genomics technologies to address complex biology and hardâtoâdrug targets such as chromatin, transcriptional or geneâexpression regulators.
- You will develop leadership skills to take on responsibility for leading drug discovery projects and initiatives across therapeutic areas, ensuring scientific excellence and strategic alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaboration across disciplines will be part of your role, as you work iteratively with wetâlab and computational scientists to advance discovery projects.
- You will scout, evaluate, and manage innovative transcriptomics and genomics approaches through partnerships with CROs, biotech, and academia.
- You will contribute to scientific publications and present at conferences to increase research visibility and demonstrate scientific excellence.
Who You Are
- You hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Biology or a related field with proven expertise in transcriptomics and genomics technologies and a strong understanding of human biology.
- You bring several years of postâdoctoral training along with relevant industry or biotech experience.
- You demonstrate strong expertise and handsâon experience with contemporary transcriptomics and genomics technologies (e.g., ChIPâSeq, ATACâSeq, ChIRPâSeq, RNAâSeqâbased techniques).
- You have a deep understanding of the mode of action of therapeutic molecules including small molecules, peptides, and antibodies.
- You have a track record of successfully designing, implementing, analyzing, and interpreting Omics technologies to interrogate complex human biology.
- You stand out with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in crossâdisciplinary teams.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, round off your profile.
