expondo Group is looking for an In-house legal counsel to advise senior management, manage external legal issues, and ensure compliance in a Europe-wide ecommerce company. As a growing company in B2B tools and equipment, we handle a wide range of legal issues with various external advisors. We now aim to centralize our legal services under an in-house lawyer to improve practice, problem prevention, and proactive legal management.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Work with the CEO, CFO, and other senior executives to manage legal risks and prevent major issues.
  • Provide legal guidance in an international e-commerce group (Poland, Germany) across areas such as commercial trading law, data protection, competition law, corporate law, and employment law.
  • Manage a portfolio of legal services and oversee their utilization.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts in English, Polish, and German.
  • Identify legal developments and implement necessary adaptations.
  • Communicate with external lawyers and authorities.
  • Coordinate and manage lawsuits.

WHAT YOU BRING IN:

  • Self-reliant advice to management and employees on legal issues, with practical solutions.
  • Studies in Law and fully qualified lawyer.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an international environment and in the legal areas listed.
  • Experience with e-commerce legal issues is a significant asset.
  • Interest in a wide range of legal activities.
  • Fluency in English and either Polish or German.
  • Careful, independent, structured, and reliable work approach with quick comprehension.
  • Hands-on mentality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
