Your team:

Dovecot Cloud is part of the Dovecot Constellation, focusing on delivering Dovecot Pro for cloud environments, mainly powering OX Cloud. We develop key components like object storage integration, cluster controller, and Kubernetes-based tooling. Our team of 7 has strong backgrounds in C, Python, operations, and product delivery. We seek a Kubernetes expert to help design, run, and scale our cloud-based mail platform infrastructure.

Your new job:

• Design, operate, and support Kubernetes workloads in production.
• Create and maintain Helm charts and deployment pipelines.
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Participate in on-call duty rotation for high availability and incident response.
• Contribute to system architecture, observability, and scalability improvements.

• System: Linux / Docker / Kubernetes
• Deployment: Helm / Ansible / Terraform
• CI: GitLab CI
• Programming: Bash & Python
• Specific to our product: Dovecot, Cassandra, Redis, Prometheus, Object Storage, Haproxy

Your background:

While experience is essential, a strong ownership mindset and eagerness to improve are highly valued.

• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals and managing production deployments.
• Experience with Helm, creating and maintaining custom charts.
• Proficiency in Linux systems and container runtimes like Docker.
• Skills in automation and scripting to increase efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and distributed storage systems.
• Effective communication in English, verbally and in writing.
• Motivated, creative, passionate about connecting the world through Open Source and promoting digital sovereignty.
