🚀 Payroll Team Lead

Position Overview

As Payroll Team Lead (m / f / d), you will take responsibility for payroll processing for eight of our TELUS Digital companies in Germany. Together with your team of around 30 people, you'll ensure smooth processes and set new standards in the payroll world!

Your Tasks Here's where you can make an impact

• Impactful Leadership: You will lead and develop a dedicated team of approximately 30 employees
• Top-level Payroll Expertise: You ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
• Strategic Development: You optimize and harmonize our payroll processes for maximum efficiency
• Consulting & Compliance: You are the primary contact for payroll-related, tax, and social security matters both internally and for external auditors
• Technology & Innovation: You contribute your expertise in using DATEV and digital HR systems and drive modernization initiatives

Your Qualifications

• Solid Experience: You have completed training or studies in payroll accounting and at least 5 years of professional experience
• Leadership Competence: You have successfully led and motivated teams
• Expert Knowledge: You are well-versed in labor law, wage tax, and social security legislation
• Tech Affinity: DATEV is your familiar territory, knowledge of Google Workspace and Workday is a plus
• Communication Skills: You're a team player with strong communication skills in German and English
