We are looking for a Finance Director (m/f/d) DACH , who will be responsible for the continuous development and optimization of the brands for the DACH Region.
Your responsibilities:
- Prepare and review with management P&L; analyze by account, by marketing activity and by door.
- Monitors key financial ratios, including but not limited to, DSO inventory months cover, ROIC and productivity.
- Set financial goals for brands (with BD/GM) and for the company with GM.
- Prepares and reviews with the Brand Managers and Sales Director complete and accurate information on the budget sales and expenses and input covering all areas.
- Offers unique insights into the organization borne from a deep understanding of the business, the market and the forces that drives the business.
- Uses insights to lead and influence change at a strategic, tactical, team and individual level across the organization.
- Develops and implements solutions to address actions emanating from insights, either to mitigate critical risk or capitalized on opportunity.
- Manages the efficient delivery of major, planned, new, high impact financial and business services program and projects across organization.
- Monitors and reports significant change in retailer trading terms including base margins, bonification, discounts, and payment terms.
- Monitor performance against budget and account; analyze variances, alert national Sales.
- Responsible for the overall protection of company assets, particularly inventory and receivable.
- Prepares and reviews product category profitability statistics.
- Reviews and reconciles forecast to business plan.
- Provides leadership, guidance and management to employees.
Qualifications
- Over 8 years of professional experience in a global company, preferably in the luxury, cosmetics or FMCG industry
- At least 5 years of management experience with a focus on managing, coaching and developing employees
- Successfully completed business studies
- Experience in all areas of finance
- Experience of working in a complex, internationally operating company
- Very good understanding of the industry and a good network of distributors, retailers, advertising agencies and other business partners.
- Very good German and English language skills
