We are looking for an experienced and drivenTest Engineering Managerto lead a test development team forautomotive radar semiconductor products. Based inHamburg, you will play a key role in ensuring our radar ICs meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and automotive compliance. This position requires deep technical expertise in RF/mmWave testing, leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of automotive quality frameworks such asAEC-Q100,ISO 26262, andIATF 16949.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of test engineers in the development and deployment of test solutions for radar ICs, including wafer-level and final test. 
- Define test strategies for new radar products, ensuring coverage of RF, analog, digital, and mixed-signal domains. 
- Oversee the development of ATE test programs and hardware (load boards, probe cards) for mmWave radar ICs. 
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards and customer-specific radar performance requirements. 
- Collaborate with design, DFT, product, and reliability engineering teams to define test coverage and validation plans. 
- Drive yield improvement, test time optimization, and cost reduction initiatives. 
- Manage demand for test infrastructure including CAPEX proposals. 
- Support root cause analysis for test escapes, field returns, and yield anomalies. 
- Interface with remote internal test sites and OSATs for production ramp-up and volume support. 
- Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. 
Qualifications:
- Masterβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. 
- 8+ years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. 
- Strong experience in RF/mmWave testing, preferably in automotive radar applications (e.g., 77 GHz). 
- Proficiency with ATE platforms (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne) and RF test instrumentation. 
- Familiarity with automotive standards (AEC-Q100, ISO 26262, IATF 16949). 
- Sound understanding of semiconductor development and manufacturing processes. 
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, or Java. 
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. 
Preferred:
- Experience with Advantest SMT8, ExaScale, and DUT scale duo interface. 
- Experience with radar signal processing and system-level testing. 
- Knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and statistical analysis tools. 
- Skills in working within Agile/Scrum frameworks. 
- German language proficiency is a plus.
