The Directorate is looking for the IT Department at the Bonn location for the next possible date for a
Administrator for specialist applications (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Deployment and operation of Java-based web and container applications
• Support and further development of our Linux-based specialist applications
• Planning, setting up and maintaining interfaces to third-party systems
• Ensuring stable and efficient operation of the applications
• Error analysis and second-level support in the event of faults and problems
• Planning and implementation of updates, patches and upgrades

Your profile - what you bring with you

• Completed university degree (Bachelor) in computer science or a comparable course of study or completed vocational training in computer science with several years of relevant professional experience for the position to be filled
• Sound knowledge in the administration of Linux servers and web applications
• Experience in application management (incident, problem, change)
• Careful, analytical and solution-oriented way of working
• High level of self-motivation and structured task organization
• Willingness to familiarize yourself with new technologies
• Very good written and spoken German (at least B2)

• Also an advantage

• - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Continuous Integration & Delivery)
• - Knowledge of operating containerized applications (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• - Experience in the operation of Java applications
• - Scripting experience (e.g. Bash, Python, Perl) and good SQL knowledge
