🚀 Lean Director

We are working for a forward-thinking manufacturing company committed to operational excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth. As they continue to scale, we are seeking a strategic and hands-on Excellence Operational Manager to lead the continuous improvement initiatives and embed a culture of Lean thinking across the organization.

Role Overview

As the Director of Lean, you will be responsible for designing and executing enterprise-wide Lean strategies that drive efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance value delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, coach leaders, and ensure measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Lean strategies aligned with business goals
• Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis
• Mentor and train teams in Lean tools and methodologies
• Drive cultural change through hands-on leadership and coaching
• Monitor KPIs and ensure continuous improvement targets are met
• Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize and resource improvement projects

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Lean leadership within a manufacturing environment
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (mandatory)
• Strong track record of leading successful Lean transformations
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and change management skills
• Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred)
