🚀 Expert Learning Program Strategist

Overview

Join to apply for the Senior Learning and Development Specialist - Instructor role at Danaher Life Sciences (Leica Biosystems). This role focuses on educating field commercial selling teams, onboarding and sustainment journeys for the Digital Pathology specialty, and driving learning program strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams. The position reports to the Learning and Development Manager and is part of the Global Commercial Training Team within the Global Sales Enablement and Operations Group, with remote coverage to global commercial training needs.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Facilitate live, instructor-led trainings, or virtual/remote learning for the Digital Pathology selling teams across regions.
• Deliver onboarding programs for new commercial associates in collaboration with cross-functional team members.
• Provide high-quality content and interactive experiences for single-day, multi-day, or week-long educational sessions.
• Liaise with sales, sales leadership, and the Digital Pathology business unit to assess training needs.
• Ensure training materials from product management are up to date and include a commercial value proposition that resonates with sales teams and customers.

Essential Requirements

• BS in Biology or related sciences, and/or certifications within Anatomical Pathology if coming from the laboratory space.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined experience within the laboratory and/or commercial markets with knowledge in digital pathology (imaging, fluorescence, software and IT).
• Experience as a mentor/coach/manager for laboratory or commercial teams in Pathology or a related area.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Travel up to 50% (domestic and international travel;
  
  passports/visas required).
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 15 lb.
• Multilingual capabilities are a plus (French, Spanish, Portuguese).

Preferred Qualifications

• Course facilitation practices to maximize adult learning and retention.
• Experience with video/e-learning content design.
• Experience with multi-vendor equipment used in the Pathology space and understanding of their functionality and advantages/disadvantages.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is $120,000 - $160,000. This is the range that is believed to be the possible compensation at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Leica Biosystems offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
