Requirements
Higher Vocational Training
Higher Technician in International Trade
Experience
~ Minimum 3 years of experience performing similar functions
Knowledge
Must have knowledge of maritime traffic
Experience in a freight forwarding company
Operational management of maritime traffic
Languages
Fluency in English / French is a plus
Adaptability to changes
Hard skills
~ Excellent MS Office skills / Cargowise
Functions
Comprehensive management of maritime shipments: export/import
Open file. Reception and issuance of relevant documentation following established procedures
Knowledge of the type of goods to expedite procedures and documentation
Management and control of BL and DUA documentation
Management of suppliers, including: the carrier, the shipping company, the customs agent, and the logistics warehouse if necessary
Coordination of shipments
Coordination of inspections when applicable. Resolution of incidents such as damages, delays, etc.
Entry into the internal system, verification of supplier invoices. Billing to the client based on the submitted offer
Shipment tracking service and confirmation with the shipping agent that the goods have arrived. Updated information flow to clients
