Customer Service Engineer (f/m/d) – Diagnostic Imaging Equipment

Location: The work center will eventually be located in Palma de Mallorca, initially in Barcelona for approximately 2 years for on‑the‑job training with the Catalonia engineering team. Job area: Zone East (Balearic Islands).
Responsibilities- Maintain medical diagnostic imaging equipment (Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, MRI) in the Zone East.
- Execute all maintenance activities coordinated through the Customer Call Center (CCC).
- Resolve corrective incidents, perform installations, preventive maintenance, system modifications within manufacturer technical parameters, maintaining service standards and KPI satisfaction.
- Carry out installations, deliveries, repairs, updates, and assistance for products in your expertise area, in line with quality standards defined by the Corporate Office.
- Communicate with the CCC, follow instructions, assign and execute Service processes, ensuring optimal customer service quality.
- Escalate unresolved incidents, inform the CCC and report to the Area Service Manager.
- Ensure proper use of equipment, tools and materials, reporting usage via the process and service report.
- Maintain the highest customer satisfaction within the Siemens Healthineers Customer Service framework.
- Perform all responsibilities with cost‑efficiency optimization, considering profitability of Customer Service and business parameters (budget approvals, offers, maintenance contracts) as per the Area Service Manager.
- Effective communication with customers, teamwork and achievement of service KPIs.
- Technical engineering degree or higher, speciality in electronics or similar, physics bachelor’s.
- Knowledge of IT networks, desirable.
- Experience in a hospital technical environment.
- Knowledge of electromedicine, radiology, nuclear medicine (PET/SPECT) and magnetic resonance.
- Availability to travel.
- Technical coverage for the East area (Balearic Islands) based in Palma de Mallorca.
- Car driving licence.
- English B2 (European reference).
