🚀 Finance Specialist

Overview

We are looking for a Project Finance Specialist to join our Europe finance team to support project delivery across Europe.

The role is responsible for end-to-end project financial management, from project budgeting and forecasting to cost control, reporting, and risk assessment to ensure accurate financial insights and strong business support to European Region Delivery & Service Team.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in project budgeting, forecasting, and periodic reforecast processes.
• Track and control project cost performance against approved budgets.
• Review and verify supplier invoices, progress payments, and contract terms.
• Support project accounting close, including accruals, provisions, and revenue recognition.
• Prepare project-level P&L, cash flow, and financial KPI reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure cost transparency and forecast accuracy.
• Support external audit and internal reporting requirements.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• 3-7 years of project finance, project controlling, or management accounting experience, preferably in energy, EPC, or manufacturing sectors.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and local accounting principles (UK and/or French and/or Spanish GAAP preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel / SAP / Power BI or similar ERP and reporting tools.
• Quick learner; Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; able to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Take strong initiative to cooperate with and support business team (i.e. Delivery & Service and other stakeholder team).
• Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish, French or Chinese is a plus.
