🚀 Junior Finance Manager

Finance Manager role at BVNK.

About this role

Group Finance department, report to Senior Finance Manager Spain.

Responsibilities

• Support audits of group entities.
• Prepare annual statutory accounts and disclosures.
• Manage accounting: accounts payable, receivable, bank payments, payroll, inventory, fixed assets of Spanish entity and other group entities.
• Support month‑end process and financial reporting for Spanish entity.
• Prepare and review tax calculations, estimates and reports; timely filing of corporate tax returns.
• Oversee local finance regulation and ensure legal entities managed from statutory compliance perspective; work with country finance team to mitigate risks.
• Prepare relevant periodic reconciliations, including Financial Assets and Liabilities and general ledger reconciliation.
• Liaise with Finance, Compliance and Regulatory colleagues, including reporting to regulatory authorities and Spanish central bank.

Qualifications

• 3‑5 years of experience as external auditor, financial accountant, financial reporting or accounting manager.
• University degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance; professional certification such as ACCA, CPA or Master in Finance.
• Detailed understanding of statutory financial reporting under IFRS and Spanish GAAP.
• Experience working with Fintechs, crypto or regulated payment company is a strong advantage.
• Stakeholder management; ability to build rapport and communicate clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; attention to detail.
• Proven experience working in an international environment and collaborating to drive solutions.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
