🚀 Research And Development Scientist

Agarose Bead Technologies , a major manufacturer of agarose resins for the biopharma industry, is seeking a full-time R&D Scientist . A successful candidate will:

Responsibilities

• Work independently in a team to plan, execute, analyze results, trouble-shoot, document, summarize experiments, and ensure high data quality.
• Record, compile, and present activities as results in the required format.
• Manage and execute, in a semi-autonomous way, limited scope projects (evaluation, management, formulation, tests, analysis and interpretation, report and conclusion).
• Participate in the execution of large-scale projects.
• Capable of being a specialist in ABT chromatography technology.
• Apply assigned test methods in accordance with established quality procedures.
• Pay attention to detail and housekeeping responsibilities to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications

• A BSc and/or Master’s degree in organic chemistry, polymer sciences or similar with 5+ years industry experience in the field.
• A PhD in organic chemistry, polymer sciences or similar with 2+ years industry experience in the field.
• It would be a plus if you also possess previous industry experience in the field, especially in product development of chromatography resin-based technologies and/or immobilization of molecules and ligands.
• Fluent English level is a plus.
• Flexible, eye for detail, tidy, neat, and organized.
• Good organizational skills, ability to work on own initiative and priorities workload.
