■働き方■ 1ヶ月単位での変形労働時間制のシフト勤務。基本1日10時間、週休3日で、月平均40時間を超えないように設定します。日勤・夜勤を含めた2~3シフトを会社が決定し、翌月のシフトは月末までに告知します。

(English) The location of this position is Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture. This is an opportunity to advance your career even if you have no experience in logistics. Many people who have worked in completely different industries such as apparel, food and beverage, retail, sales, amusement, and call centers are active here. Amazon’s fulfillment center (FC) makes express, specified delivery date and same‑day delivery possible. We are looking for Area Managers who can lead projects, manage people, improve processes, and contribute to creating a harmonious work‑life environment.

■Work style■ Shift work with a monthly flexible working hours system. 10 hours per day, 3 days off a week, within an average of 40 hours per week per month. Shifts will be decided by the company and communicated by the end of each month.

■Education system■ After joining, you will attend approx. one week of classroom lessons to learn Amazon culture and basic FC work. After assignment, you will learn process knowledge and tool use through OJT under a training manager.

Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Development and support of team members: Engage actively with team members, improve the workplace based on their feedback, guide business knowledge, Amazon culture, and listen to concerns. Manage attendance, working hours, and performance of subordinates.
  2. Improvement of safety, quality, and work efficiency of assigned processes: Lead safety activities, quality checks, work environment improvements, and training progress management. Identify problems, devise countermeasures, involve team members, and achieve results.
  3. Response to daily operations: Plan and manage receiving, inventory, and shipping of products. Make appropriate judgments to meet delivery deadlines, handling volume fluctuations, labor shortages, and system issues.
  4. Promoting improvements as a project leader: Lead annual/monthly projects within the FC to improve safety risks and productivity. Collaborate with related departments and participate in FC events such as Family Day.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in training staff or leading a team, regardless of industry (3 years or more of work experience).
  • Experience managing about five people (including attendance and performance management).
  • Experience in implementing operational kaizen and standardization based on quantitative data analysis.
  • Intermediate PC skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros in Excel).
  • Reading and writing level English proficiency.
