About This Role

We are recruiting an Account Receivables (AR) Clerk for our EMEA HQ in Madrid- Alcobendas. The role focuses on securing revenue by checking and following up on external Agencies across Europe (with emphasis on Denmark and Finland markets). The position requires a logical, analytical person with self-discipline, determination, and a positive attitude.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department and support resolution of payment issues; respond to questions related to client accounts.
  • Provide ad hoc information and data analysis as requested.
  • Meet established timelines and objectives for assigned work.
  • Update receivables by verifying deposits on bank accounts, identifying deposits, and recording them in the system to keep balances accurate.
  • Contact clients in cases of late payments to recover due amounts.
  • Handle inbound inquiries from agents regarding balances and place outbound calls to collect funds and prevent debts; review clients’ financial situations with the company as appropriate.
  • Suspension of debtors’ accounts and ongoing follow-up to recover funds.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum A-level education; degree in a financial discipline is an advantage.
  • 1-2 years’ work experience; experience in a call center handling high volumes of inbound/outbound calls is valuable.
  • Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English; knowledge of a Nordic language is a plus.
  • Team player with strong organization and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate; able to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
