Responsibilities

• Lead the development of software components for space ground segment solutions.
• Participate in integration and testing of the software products, seeing the process through from beginning to end.
• Collaborate with software architects to define and deploy best practices and cyber security rules within the company to secure-by-design the products.
• Provide security recommendations for software products based on analysis.
• Follow internal and external security audits for our products.
• Perform functional analysis of systems to capture software requirements.
• Take leadership of software activities with regard to cost, schedule and quality requirements.
• Help the team to achieve sprint objectives and contribute with your own work.
• Collaborate with new technologies research.
• Generate security requirements, risk analysis, threat modelling and test plans for selected projects in different technologies (in English).

Qualifications

• Degree in software engineering, telecommunication engineering, aerospace engineering, or related technical discipline; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Proactive, highly experienced software developer with strong hands-on programming, design skills and background in agile methodologies (preferably Scrum).
• Ability to show mature trade-offs, take ownership, and work with legacy code.
• Experience with microservices and building performance-based software solutions.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, processes and tools, and to propose new solutions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with discovering and solving security flaws based on security tools recommendations.
