The Role

As a Technology and Management Consultant, you are part of the Value Engineering team and the trusted advisor for customers at the intersection of technology and business. As a Value Engineer (VE), you partner with sales and customers to create compelling and innovative technical solutions to critical business problems leveraging Celonis Process Intelligence Platform and AI capabilities. A strong VE understands the customer, the technology, and the sales cycle, making it a pivotal role in Enterprise Software.

You will join the Global VE Center of Excellence, an international and dynamic organization supporting local field teams. The team values trust, continuous development, and improvement through coaching & mentoring.

The Orbit Graduate Program is a 12-month experience designed to fast-start your career in the SaaS industry, with hands-on learning, mentorship, and a collaborative culture. It develops essential VE skills and competencies and aims to establish strong relationships for long-term growth at Celonis.

Your journey includes onboarding and enablement to develop business and Celonis skills through hands-on customer engagements and training covering Celonis Process Intelligence, domain knowledge, presentation & demo skills, discovery & objection handling, and value selling.

What you’ll do

• Work as part of the Global VE CoE to support the Growth Value Engineering team on customer engagements. The Growth team covers the midmarket segment across EMEA, LATAM and APAC.
• Collaborate with customers to uncover core business challenges and determine how Celonis Process Intelligence can help achieve business objectives and AI strategy.
• Execute proof projects showcasing the value of Celonis Process Intelligence, frame a quantitative business value, and deliver presentations to senior executives to drive investment decisions.
• Prototype and develop AI solutions tailored to customer needs, including traditional machine learning, LLM-based solutions, and orchestration technology.
• Drive change management and value realization to ensure a positive return on investment.
• Build strong relationships with customers by earning their trust through technical, product, and business acumen to act as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate and share customer insights with internal Product and Engineering teams to influence and co-develop AI product innovations.
• Create reusable collateral, best practices, and tools within the Global VE Center of Excellence and feed them back to the regional Value Engineering team.
• Travel to regions to meet clients in person to ensure the success of customer engagements.

Qualifications

We are looking for people who enjoy solving problems, think creatively, and are not afraid to learn from mistakes. We seek “builders” who thrive in fast-paced environments and can rapidly develop solutions and pilots using Celonis platform and AI technologies.

You have a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in (Industrial) Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science / Business Analytics, AI/ML, Mathematics or related fields, plus relevant work or internship experience. You should be curious, self-motivated, and committed to continuous learning in a lively, high-growth environment.

Value Engineer profile

• Have a passion for technology, data, and AI and the impact it can have on the world
• Hunger to learn new technologies and basic knowledge or hands-on experience in SQL and/or Python
• Exposure to process mining principles and completion of Celonis Rising Star modules is a plus
• Ability to think analytically and creatively, applying technology solutions to core business problems
• Focus on creating and adding value for customers
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute
• Ability to build relationships with senior management and influence decision-makers
• Confidence to present to C-level executives and larger audiences
• Willingness to travel to regions to meet clients in person
• Effective communication in German. Fluency in English is a must.
