About this role
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) , you will be a strategic and hands-on finance leader, responsible for driving the company's financial strategy and scaling its financial operations in alignment with Jotelulu's ambitious growth trajectory. Reporting directly to CEO David Amorin, you will play a pivotal role in fundraising, financial planning, and investor relations. With Jotelulu entering its Series A growth stage and preparing for Series B fundraising, you will lead capital-raising initiatives, oversee finance and legal functions, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with Spanish and EU regulations. Due to the company's Madrid headquarters and hybrid work model, regular in-office presence will be expected.
Your leadership will focus on three key pillars:
- Strategic Financial Leadership - Align financial planning with business objectives, supporting Jotelulu's rapid growth and long-term vision.
- Investor & Board Relations - Act as a trusted partner to investors and board members, managing fundraising and capital strategy.
- Operational Excellence - Optimize financial processes, ensure compliance, and implement scalable financial infrastructure.
You will
- Develop and execute a long-term financial strategy, aligning financial planning with business objectives to drive growth and profitability.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business decision-making.
- Provide insights on pricing strategy, unit economics, and financial trends.
- Oversee financial planning for international expansion.
- Manage relationships with existing equity and debt investors.
- Drive capital-raising initiatives and reporting to support Series B fundraising and CAPEX financing.
- Prepare and present board materials, financial plans, and risk assessments.
- Ensure financial controls, audits, and compliance with Spanish and EU regulations.
- Collaborate with regulators where necessary.
- Oversee statutory reporting, tax strategy, and risk management.
- Lead and develop the finance and legal teams, fostering efficiency and scalability.
- Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team on financial problem-solving and scenario modeling.
- Implement advanced financial systems, leveraging automation to optimize processes.

Fluent in English and Spanish.
What We Are Looking For
A highly experienced finance leader who thrives in dynamic, high-growth SaaS environments. Someone who combines strategic vision with a hands-on approach, bringing both technical expertise and strong leadership skills.
- 10+ years of experience in senior finance roles within SaaS or technology-driven businesses.
- Proven track record scaling companies from Series A to Series C+.
- Strong expertise in fundraising, financial modeling, and CAPEX investment strategies.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of financial systems (ERP, BI tools) and process automation.
- Exposure to venture capital-backed companies.
- Experience in deep-tech, cloud services, or cybersecurity is highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Proactive in adopting and integrating AI solutions to optimize financial processes.
