About the role

Are you a strategic and analytical professional with a passion for luxury hospitality? We are seeking a Revenue Manager to join our team at our 5-star property in Ibiza. In this role, you will lead revenue optimization across all business segments, including Rooms, MICE, and Leisure. You will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies, forecasting demand, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities to maximize profitability and overall hotel performance.

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing & Revenue , you’ll be instrumental in executing our revenue strategy , optimizing pricing and inventory, and maximizing profitability across all business segments. You will analyze market trends, forecast demand, and provide strategic insights to strengthen the hotel’s performance — all while ensuring our brand is represented with excellence and elegance at every touchpoint.

What you’ll be responsible for

Operational responsibilities

  • Maximize revenue and profitability associated with rooms.
  • Develop and recommend pricing and sales strategies for each segment: Transient, Groups, and Wholesaler.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to develop the hotel’s commercial strategy, ensuring proper implementation and analysis of results.
  • Identify and communicate new revenue opportunities.
  • Support strategies aimed at maximizing revenue from F&B and Spa.
  • Prepare and communicate the monthly revenue projection (forecast).
  • Oversee all processes related to demand, revenue, positioning, forecasting, inventory management, and opportunity analysis.
  • Continuously monitor sales performance and implement measures to achieve set targets.
  • Analyze and research competitors, anticipating their developments and taking necessary measures to adapt to new trends or market shifts.
  • Analyze weekly and monthly STR results to evaluate past strategies, identify areas for improvement, and monitor competitor actions to increase market share.
  • Prepare and analyze end-of-period results to identify trends, special-demand dates, and potential obstacles to achieving objectives.
  • Prepare and lead the weekly strategy meeting.
  • Assist the Sales team in group quotations by defining rates and performing displacement analysis.
  • Ensure correct rate loading across the defined distribution channels for each case.
  • Ensure proper billing of reservations and payment of commissions.
  • Manage reservation deviations.
  • Manage relevant guest complaints.

Leadership responsibilities

  • Identify and develop the talent within the team, providing the necessary support for them to reach their full potential.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding processes for the team, as well as collaborate in their training and professional development.
  • Contribute to the Performance Evaluation of the team under your supervision, creating opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Ensure effective relationships and communication with other departments, promoting collaboration for the execution of area activities.
  • Lead the team by engaging them in objectives, motivating them to respond effectively to the hotel’s needs, and fostering their professional development.
  • Promote and maintain a positive work environment that enables the team to work with energy and enthusiasm toward achieving goals.
  • Encourage collaborative work by leveraging information, knowledge, and experience—both personal and from the team—to execute tasks more efficiently.

Management responsibilities

  • Implement and follow the company’s quality and environmental system regulations, ensuring appropriate practices that guarantee compliance.
  • Participate in the implementation and recording of departmental/area quality system indicators.
  • Be aware of and comply with current Occupational Health and Safety regulations in the execution of tasks associated with the role.
  • Understand and apply Environmental legislation in areas of the system that affect your work.
  • Comply with Environmental Program activities to prevent emergency situations.
  • Comply with current regulations under the Data Protection Law (GDPR).

Education and required experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism or related field.
  • Computer skills: Advanced level of office software proficiency.
  • Experience: Between 2 and 5 years in similar positions.
  • Languages: Ability to understand, read, and communicate orally and in writing in Spanish and English, with working knowledge of a third language relevant to the position.
