🚀 Head of Business Development – Engineering Services

We are currently seeking a Head of Business Development – Engineering Services to join our Technical Assistance Division in Madrid.
This is a key leadership role focused on driving business growth, operational performance, and client success within our engineering service projects.

Your role / Tu día a día

• Lead and coordinate business operations within the Technical Assistance unit , ensuring project excellence and client satisfaction.
  
• Develop and execute growth strategies across key clients in energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
  
• Act as the main interface between clients and internal engineering teams , ensuring alignment and delivery of commitments.
  
• Manage the proposal and bidding process in collaboration with Business Development and Technical teams.
  
• Monitor KPIs, project performance, and financial results to optimize operations.
  
• Support recruitment and allocation of engineering profiles to ongoing and new projects.
  
• Promote best practices, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment with Vulcain Group objectives.

What we’re looking for / Lo quebuscamos

• University degree in Engineering , Business Administration , or a related field.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical consulting, engineering services, or technical assistance environments.
  
• Strong background in client-facing roles , project coordination, and business operations.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  
• Fluency in English and Spanish (mandatory); French or German is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with the engineering and energy sectors and tools such as Excel, Power BI, ERP/CRM platforms .
