About the Role

We are looking for a highly trustworthy and experienced professional to take ownership of Finance operations. This role is a key part of our Management Team and requires strong financial expertise, an international mindset, and a service-oriented attitude. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, business-savvy, and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing all financials of the company
  • Improving business reporting
  • Implementing KPI Framework
  • General management in absence of CEO
  • Together with CEO and Senior Management scale further

Finance & Accounting

Oversee and ensure the accuracy of financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payments, payroll, and tax declarations. Manage cash flow forecasting, credit lines, and loan amortizations. Lead monthly and yearly financial closing, ensuring compliance with Spanish accounting principles. Work closely with external accountants for financial reporting and compliance. Support the CEO in forecasting, budgeting, and cost control. Assist department heads with financial and project data analysis. Supervise the finance team (2 members), ensuring operational excellence.

HR & Admin Operations

Work closely with the HR Manager & People Growth. Liaise with an external HR agency for employee contracts, onboarding, offboarding, social security, and dismissals. Oversee payroll administration, including salary payments and related accounting tasks. Manage compliance with labor laws and handle escalations related to HR operations. Supervise risk prevention, training execution (Fundae), and flexible benefits.

Legal & Compliance

Review and update supplier contracts, NDAs and employee agreements. Identify business risks and ensure legal compliance across operations. Liaise with external legal consultants on corporate matters. Maintain and renew company insurance policies.

Who You Are

5+ years of experience in finance, administration, or related fields. Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting codes and tax regulations. Solid understanding of Admin operations, payroll administration, and labor law. Business-minded, detail-oriented, and highly organized. International profile, fluent in English (native or professional level) and Spanish (advanced level). Additional languages are a plus. Someone with a serving and supportive attitude, who values teamwork and collaboration. Enjoys working in the events industry and thrives in creative, international, and dynamic environments.

Skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, able to make data-driven decisions. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a service-oriented approach. Proficient in Excel and Office Suite for financial analysis and reporting. Familiarity with Zoho Books, A3, Sage, Workday, or similar finance and admin tools. Understanding of Spanish accounting principles, payroll processes, and labor law.
