You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, driving continuous improvement across our operations, and fostering a culture of safety, sustainability, and responsibility.

You will collaborate closely with management to implement, maintain, and enhance our HSE Management System, ensuring legal compliance, operational excellence, and alignment with corporate sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

• HSE Management Systems - Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) systems.
• HSE Management Systems - Monitor compliance with environmental and safety regulations through internal audits and on-site inspections.
• HSE Management Systems - Draft and update technical documentation and operational procedures.
• HSE Management Systems - Participate in risk assessments and contribute to improvement plans.
• HSE Management Systems - Promote proactive safety and environmental culture across the plant.
• HSE Management Systems - Act as liaison with external authorities, consultants, and inspectors.
• Occupational Risk Prevention - Identify and evaluate occupational, environmental, and psychosocial risks in processes, facilities, and operational changes.
• Occupational Risk Prevention - Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and proper use of PPE.
• Occupational Risk Prevention - Conduct emergency drills and follow up on corrective actions.
• Occupational Risk Prevention - Propose preventive measures and improvement opportunities.
• Occupational Risk Prevention - Carry out safety observations and behavioral-based safety initiatives.
• Training and HSE Culture - Deliver internal training on safety, health, and environmental topics.
• Training and HSE Culture - Implement and support Behavior-Based Safety Programs (STOP Program).
• Training and HSE Culture - Provide guidance and support to other departments on HSE-related matters.
• Environmental Management - Assess environmental aspects and impacts, proposing and tracking improvement actions.
• Environmental Management - Implement and monitor operational controls and legal authorizations.
• Environmental Management - Ensure compliance with environmental permits and applicable legislation.
• Incident Management - Investigate accidents, incidents, and occupational illnesses to identify root causes.
• Incident Management - Record and report events in corporate systems, analyzing trends to propose preventive actions.
• Communication and Coordination - Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies (CAE management).
• Communication and Coordination - Support external and internal audits, inspections, and KPI monitoring.
