We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our team in GTD Defense & Security Solutions, the company of GTD Group specialized in the design and development of large, complex and/or safety‑critical applications. The position will be based in Cadiz, San Fernando or Puerto de Santa Maria. Here you will find more information about us:

Position activities

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of Engineers with a clear orientation towards the integration of systems at all levels: mechanical, electrical, electronic and at the software level; mainly land border surveillance systems and naval systems, both national and export markets and during the entire life cycle of the project, from the technical specification, design, production and verification and validation.

Our new colleague will support the design, implementation and testing of the CMS software for submarine S80 class program, specifically the Tactical Data Link Integration, including the following functions:

• SW development in accordance with the System specifications.
• Static and dynamic SW tests
• Build generation.
• Support to execution of unit, integration and qualification test protocols.
• Ship trials Support (HAT and SAT)

Management of SW anomalies detected in tests (identification, registration and resolution).

Your profile

It is required to have experience in the following technologies:

• Object‑oriented programming C++ (QT environment).
• Real‑time systems applications.
• Static and dynamic analysis tools.
• Experience in build generation.
• Experience in continuous integration, cross‑compilation and distributed compilation.
• GIT tool
• Knowledge of Tactical Data Link

Nice to have :

• Dockers
• Software migration
• Previous experience in the use of IBM Synergy, Change and DOORS
• Previous experience in Navantia Sistema’s programmes
• Knowledge of Combat Systems and/or Command and Control Systems
