Your profile

  • Education:
    • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
    • CFA, CAIA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in asset management or financial services sales, ideally covering Spanish markets.
    • Proven track record of success in developing relationships with distributors and institutional clients.
    • Deep understanding of investment products (mutual funds, discretionary mandates, portfolio solutions).
    • Deep understanding of different asset classes (Fixed Income, Equity…)
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong knowledge of the fund distribution landscape in Spain.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Able to communicate with different levels of technical complexity
    • Strategic thinker (f/m/d) with a hands‑on, entrepreneurial approach.
    • Fluent in Spanish and English (German is an advantage).

Your mission

  • Business Development:
    • Help on developing and executing a sales strategy to expand Flossbach von Storch’s footprint across Spain.
    • Identify and acquire new business opportunities within all distribution channels.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key clients, ensuring high satisfaction and client retention.
    • Deliver tailored investment solutions and communicate the company’s active investment philosophy effectively.
  • Market Representation:
    • Act as an ambassador (f/m/d) of FvS in Spain, participating in industry events, conferences, and seminars.
    • Stay informed about market trends, client needs, and regulatory developments affecting the Spanish investment landscape.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the international sales team, portfolio management, marketing, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with client needs.
    • Coordinate with the International Sales team to contribute to regional strategy and initiatives.
