Overview
The University of Hong Kong invites applications for Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (rank of Clerk I/II) in the Faculty of Arts. (2 posts) The appointment is on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contributions to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. The post is based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Faculty Office and the Arts Tech Lab with administrative functions, primarily in budgeting and procurement, finance and resources management.
- Coordinate events and student internship programmes; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Good Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a tertiary institution or higher education sector in arts administration.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong organizational and data-analytical skills, high self-motivation, ability to work with minimal supervision, and a good team player with the ability to multi-task and pay attention to details.
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience in accounting and/or event management. Proficiency in data processing would be an advantage.
- Candidates with less experience or lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
