🚀 Junior Marketing Specialist Internship (Native German)

At Timup , we are supporting a leading multinational in Retail and E-commerce looking for a Junior Digital Marketing Specialist with German language proficiency to join their team in Barcelona.

You will provide direct operational support to the Country Manager DACH , assisting with content creation, social media management, SEO and paid campaigns support, as well as translations and cultural adaptations (not just language, but a deep understanding of German culture is essential).

Main Responsibilities

• Create, review, and meticulously proofread digital content in German, ensuring quality, brand consistency, and accuracy.
• Support social media management and paid campaigns for the DACH region.
• Assist with SEO optimization of content, including on-page SEO, blog articles, product pages, and newsletters.
• Localize content for cultural sensitivity and market adaptation, adjusting language, tone, and visual elements as needed.
• Verify grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and factual accuracy.
• Maintain brand consistency across all localized content.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product teams.
• Establish a feedback loop for continuous improvement and stay updated on language trends, cultural shifts, and market changes.
• Work on offline materials: flyers, posters, and special printed items.
• Support e-commerce content: banners, CTAs, paid ads, new pages, etc.
• Participate in the creation of social media content, including appearing on camera and recording videos for digital campaigns.

Ideal Profile

• German-born speaker required + good level of English.
• University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Deep understanding of German culture beyond just the language.
• Passion for digital communication and online marketing.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in an international environment.
