🚀 PROJECT FINANCE LAWYER - 2-5 PQE - ROLE WITH INTERNATIONAL LAW FIRM - MADRID, SPAIN

Our client, a highly respected international law firm with a strong presence across Europe and globally, is seeking to recruit a talented Project Finance Lawyer (3–5 PQE) to join their growing Madrid office .

The Role

You will work as part of a top-tier project finance team advising sponsors, lenders, and other stakeholders on complex and high-value transactions across the energy, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors. The role offers exposure to a diverse range of cross-border matters and the opportunity to work alongside some of the leading practitioners in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on all aspects of project financing transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and documentation.
• Acting for international and domestic clients on infrastructure, renewable energy, and other major project developments.
• Supporting senior lawyers and partners on high-profile, multi-jurisdictional mandates.
• Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified lawyer with 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in project finance.
• Strong background in project finance and banking/finance law , ideally with exposure to cross-border transactions.
• Experience gained at a leading international or top-tier domestic law firm .
• Fluent in English ; Spanish language skills highly advantageous.
• Excellent technical ability, commercial awareness, and strong communication skills.
