Key Responsibilities

  • Engineer scalable data and cloud foundations to power AI workloads and automation at scale within AWS environments.
  • Design and implement agentic AI systems as part of a broader automation platform—developing self-orchestrating workflows, APIs, and reusable platform components.
  • Build automation and observability solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CDK) and modern monitoring frameworks.
  • Integrate data pipelines with intelligent orchestration layers to enable autonomous experimentation, deployment, and continuous optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, AI scientists, and platform teams to embed AI-driven capabilities into core business operations.
  • Champion responsible and scalable AI automation, ensuring compliance, reliability, and transparency are built into every stage of design and deployment.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Strong software engineering background using Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
  • Proven experience building and automating cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.) using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform/CDK).
  • Solid understanding of data engineering principles, including pipeline design, orchestration, and API integration.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, LangChain, agent frameworks) to enhance productivity and automation.
  • Self-driven, curious problem solver who thrives on experimentation and iterative innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience deploying or integrating agentic AI architectures, such as orchestration frameworks or autonomous agents.
  • Knowledge of RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector databases (e.g., Weaviate, Qdrant).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes/EKS and observability tools (e.g., New Relic, OpenTelemetry).
  • Understanding of model hosting and optimization (vLLM, Triton, Hugging Face).
  • Awareness of data governance and responsible AI practices in enterprise or regulated environments.
