Job Overview
The Software Developer will focus on designing, building, and maintaining backend systems and applications. This role emphasizes delivering high-quality, dependable, and maintainable software while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement new backend functionalities on a scalable, resilient platform.
Support the rollout of an advanced microservices-based architecture.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to key architectural decisions.
Follow test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
Write code optimized for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Analyze and translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Produce clean, well-documented code.
Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure quality delivery.
Utilize analytical thinking with a strong focus on software quality.
Track tasks, issues, and project progress using management tools.
Prioritize and manage your own work to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Review code changes and participate in peer code reviews.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience as a backend software engineer, proficient in Python or Go.
Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and containerization within cloud environments.
Experience designing and maintaining distributed systems and microservice architectures.
Demonstrated success working on high-transaction, high-volume systems.
Strong dedication to software quality and best engineering practices.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver precise work.
Capable of working independently with limited supervision.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
A degree in Information Technology or related discipline is preferred.
