Overview

Head of Programming leads programming of Owned (redbull.com & Red Bull TV) and Managed channels, and community management across them. Develops and implements cross-platform programming strategies aligned with the organization’s marketing plan, aiming to maximize reach, engagements, frequency, and length of interaction while maintaining brand relevance across platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Defines content programming priorities and creates plans with the Media Network and Marketing teams, informed by past content performance and audience behavior.
  • Sharpen strategies for Owned and Managed channels, identify potential programming partner channels, and build holistic programming and release plans across the network.
  • Optimize channel performance and experience through scheduling, featuring, customized functionalities, and smooth consumer journeys.
  • Brief content needs with the Content team to maximize performance per platform and goal.
  • Develop activation plans with Brand and Communications teams to maximize reach of content.
  • Run Social Media and Community Management, program local redbull.com and Red Bull TV, and work with the Creator Marketing lead.
  • Ensure representation of drinking occasions, product presence, and a meaningful purpose of the Red Bull brand in everyday consumer life.

Your knowledge and expertise

  • University degree in communications, film or art studies, journalism.
  • Digital media leader with at least 5 years of management experience in digital programming of channels/platforms.
  • Experience running social media accounts and/or programming websites and apps.
  • Expert in identifying where consumers live digitally, how they consume content, and how to engage them according to consumption behavior.
  • Strong sense of online trends and ability to drive Word of Mouth online.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • Strong communicator; able to uplevel digital knowledge across the organization.
  • Understanding of competitor activity and consumer behavior in media and FMCG contexts.
  • Lives and breathes media on the internet; excellent digital industry knowledge.
  • Analytic thinker with ability to translate data into strategy and concrete initiatives.
  • Hands-on; not afraid to run accounts when needed.
  • Curious, open, creative; leadership, presentation, and motivational skills.
  • Problem solver.
