WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

GOVSATCOM is a strategic pillar of the EU space program, designed to provide secure, resilient, and efficient satellite communications to authorized users.

What will be your mission?

  • Define the architectural framework of the overall system, establishing the basis for its design and coherent operation.
  • Contribute to the selection of appropriate technologies to ensure the efficiency, scalability, and robustness of the system.
  • Oversee the design of each subcomponent , performing analysis, evaluation, and acceptance of solutions proposed by external development teams.
  • Ensure that quality and security standards are met, maintaining high levels of technical integrity throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Ensure software level integration of the various components, ensuring that the complete system operates in a coherent and efficient manner.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and evolution of the system, proposing technological innovations that optimize its performance and ensure its long-term sustainability .

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for an EU software architect with strong analytical skills , excellent understanding of technological architectures, and a pragmatic, results-oriented approach.

Your main responsibility will be to oversee work performed by external development teams in charge of subcomponents, ensuring integration and coherence.

Previous experience, high level of English, and availability to travel are assets.
